Safety and reporting of adverse events of new anti-tuberculosis drug regimens in Sub-Sahara Africa: Analysis of individual case safety reports.

The main aim is to report the safety and management of adverse drugs reactions associated with the use of new antituberculosis drugs in Nigeria, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Eswatini. The study will describe the demographic characteristic of the patients that reported adverse events with new and repurposed drugs. Other data to be collected are scope, types, frequencies, trend of adverse events, and causation. Reporting of bacteriological status at diagnosis, conversion and treatment outcome is very important. Pavia project will have a publication on safety and reporting of adverse events.
